25-ton Automotive Oil Filter Crusher - Floor Stand No. 1876 - Optional floor stand for filter crusher. Wt., 40 lbs. This 25-ton model is equipped with an OTC air/hydraulic pump, and works on most automotive and light truck filters up to 6" long. It'll also crush the Ford 6.9L and 7.3L diesel engine filters. It gives you similar speed, but more crushing force than competitors' models. Features: This model is ideal for shops requiring a crusher for occasional use. (OTC recommends the Pro Crush model 1896 for high-volume usage.) Crushing time based on 9CFM at 100 PSI is 49 seconds for 25-ton oil filter crusher. Automatic cycle feature: load the filter, push a button, and walk away. A shield protects the operator, and security switch prevents operation if the shield is in the open position. Includes air/hydraulic pump that works on standard shop air, with special valving to return the ram automatically at the end of each cycle. 25-ton unit removes 95% of the residual oil from a pre-drained filter, and crushes filter to 1 /6 of original size.
