Power Train Lift No. 1585 - Power train lift with tilting plate. Wt., 303 lbs. The Power Train Lift is built to handle 1250 lbs., and its four swivel casters and compact design - 3 1 /2 feet wide and less than 5 feet long - make maneuvering it under the chassis an almost effortless job. Connect the specially modified air/ hydraulic pump with special valving to your shop's air supply, and get precise control when raising/lowering the load, anywhere from 68 1 /2" high back down to 29 1 /2". The tilting plate adjusts 22º front to back, and 17 1 /2º to each side; and width between the 4x4 wooden support blocks is adjustable from 0-29". Secure the load with a tough nylon strap. And when you've lowered the load to a comfortable working height, just use the 1585 as a workbench! Not only does the lift support engines and transaxles, it's also a good companion to have around when pulling rear ends, leaf springs, and a whole lot more.
